I’ve used this method before to pull up a delicate framework dead square;
Cramps will pull it up, but winding on the tourniquet string for a few turns gives absolute precision to pull it dead square. Cascamite used here to extend the gluing time and excess ‘squeeze out’ removed with hot water and a barely damp bristle brush.
